Paramedic Refresher

6 day course: January 6, 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15
Course meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for two weeks.
8:30am to 5:30pm.
Prerequisite: Paramedic certification (current or lapsed)

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider (In-Person) - Flagstaff

- This class is open to all interested persons but is intended for medical providers and those applying for programs in the medical field (i.e. EMT, CNA, MA, Physicians, RN, Dentists, etc.)
- Note: course will fulfill the enrollment pre-requisite for EMS 131, Emergency Medical Technician and NUR 110, Nursing Assistant I
- This is a medical course for CPR & AED for infant, child, & adult only. No First Aid.
- This course will be completed in person at the CCC Fourth Street Campus.
- The course is approximately 5 hours.
- Additional online work may be required.
Stained Glass Workshop - Saturday, Jan. 10

Saturday, Jan. 10
During this day-long workshop you will learn the fundamentals of creating stained glass art and you will create your own art piece to take home! You will learn how to select your glass, proper glass cutting, grinding, copper foiling, soldering, patina and finishing techniques.
The class fee includes expert instruction, all materials to make your art piece, and tools provided by the instructor as well as a grant from the Flagstaff Community Foundation.
We will have safety glasses available; feel free to bring your own pair. Please no open toe shoes. Please bring your own snacks, lunch, and water.
Instructor Jeanne Baker began her journey in stained glass art with a full-semester course at Coconino Community College! She has created hundreds of commissioned pieces, and has shared her passion for this creative art form with dozens of friends and family. When she’s not in her studio, she is managing the business that she has owned since 2001, Foliage Unlimited.
The workshop will be off campus at the artist's studio. Directions will be provided once registration closes.

Vision Boarding In Uncertain Times

A Supportive Mixed Media Workshop

Vision Boarding in Uncertain Times offers a refreshing, supportive approach to reclaiming clarity and direction. In this two-session mixed-media class, you’ll gently re-vision the traditional vision board, transforming it into a grounded, nurturing tool for self-discovery rather than pressure or perfection. Through guided reflection, creative exercises, and meaningful discussion, you’ll explore your unique strengths, reconnect with what truly sustains you, and identify opportunities for self-nurturing. You will create one to two new vision boards aligned with your personal strengths and emerging possibilities. Join us to cultivate insight, inspiration, and a renewed sense of hope—no matter what the world around you is doing.
This class meets on two Tuesdays: Jan. 13 and Jan. 20, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Michelle Gray, Coaching Psychologist and owner of Authentic Path Coaching, has over 40 years of professional experience in Expressive Arts and Coaching. She provides transformative well‐being coaching with those making transitions while exploring their authentic life path. She loves to help others Awaken Creative Solutions through individual, relationship, group coaching. Michelle was also a recipient of 2024 ARTx Grant for Dreamscapes Unveiled, an art show integrating Jungian psychology, sleep, and dreams.

AHA Heartsaver Total First Aid, CPR & AED (Blended) - Page, AZ

- This class is intended for anyone requiring total First Aid, CPR, and AED training for infant, child, and adult.
- This is an OSHA approved workplace required training.
- For blended courses, students are expected to complete an online course, and after completion, do a skills test in person.
- After you register, an online key access code will be sent to your email address from AHA to complete the online course. You must complete all 32 modules!
- At the end of the online course, you will receive a completion certificate that you will bring with you to the scheduled skills testing.
- The skills testing is scheduled by the instructor via email and will take place at the CCC Page Center.

Comet Talk: Finding Santiago: Indians, Immigrants, and the Meaning of Birthright Citizenship
with Matthew Hernando, Coconino Community College - Flagstaff
Join Dr. Matthew Hernando as he tells the story of the origins and development of the legal doctrine known as birthright citizenship from the perspective of three unique individuals: John Elk, an American Indian from the Winnebago tribe, who lost a suit for his citizenship before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1884, Wong Kim Ark of Los Angeles, the son of Chinese immigrants, who won a case before the same court in 1898, and a young man named Santiago from the Laoag City in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines, who emigrated to the United States, fought in World War II, and died an American.
Matthew Hernando is an instructor in History and Humanities at Coconino Community College. He earned his Ph.D. in history at Louisiana State University, and he has taught history at the collegiate level for over 13 years.
