Coconino Community College


This course provides an introduction to the principles of Aikido. You will learn nonviolent conflict resolution through learning basic martial arts skills. Participants will be introduced to basic Aikido skills such as practical falling, deflecting attacks, and basic self-defense principles. This course includes lots of movement and physical activity.

Your instructors are Tania Boeskin and Richard Facer. Both are instructors at Aikido of Flagstaff, have Second Degree Black Belts, and over 20 years of experience in Aikido, including 10 years as instructors at NAU.
